1. The Pleasant Valley War

The Pleasant Valley War, also known as the Graham-Tewksbury Feud, was fought during the 1880's in the northern part of the Arizona Territory. It was one of the most complex and vile blood feuds in America's history, which left about 40 men dead. Even the storied Hatfields and McCoys, with 13 dead, can't compare. It was a confrontation between the sheep raisers and the cowmen, the Hashknife Outfit and the homesteaders, the horse thieves and the Mormons, the cinch-ring artists and the ranchers.

Arizona State Historian Marshall Trimble said Jinx Pyle's book will be the definitive work on the Pleasant Valley War.

8.5x 11 160 pages.
